Over the summer, a survey was conducted throughout America. This survey asked parents what they feared the most about this upcoming school year. Almost every parent stated that they fear the first day of school the most. With that stated, here are some logical tips to help the entire family make it through the first day of school.
The first logical suggestions would be for parents to prepare their children’s clothes during the summer. Of course, children want to learn, but they want to do it while looking good. Moreover, the first day of school sets the tone for the rest of the school year. Children do care about their appearance on the first day of school, and this can drive parents over the edge.
Parents should shop for clothes at the end of July. By this time, everything will be on sale because new clothing will be coming into the store. Parents will be able to save lots of money on name brand clothes. Parents should also shop online, especially during the end of July because this is when online sales end and new sales begin.
The second logical tip would be for parents to have a savings account for children. Putting $10 a week in a savings account throughout the summer will go a long way. That money will assist kids in getting through the first few months of school as it relates to lunches and after school activities. The savings account should also continue throughout the school year.
